Mauka

Islands Cafe opened its second location in South Surrey a year after opening our original in White Rock. It was at this point we started to get tired of calling our cafes by the geographical location and decided on two Hawaiian names. Makai meaning sea for White Rock, and Mauka meaning mountain side, for South Surrey. Mauka is where we currently roast 90% of our coffee beans and is also where we package most of our fulfillment orders for online coffee purchases and subscriptions. We have managed to do a lot with this one space, including amazing seating and of course Islands Cafes awesome playlists are setting the vibe all day. So come hang, study, create what ever, Aloha!
